About Being a Prefect:

A good prefect must be willing to do the following:

➢ Wear their uniform correctly at all times.

➢ Behave appropriately in lessons and around the wider school community.

➢ Treat both staff and other students with respect at all times.

➢ Give up their free time to carry out duties (before school & at lunch time).

➢ Attend and support at school calendar events including at Open Evening,

➢ Year 7 Induction Evening Rounders BBQ, and other events, as required.

➢ Be an excellent role model at all times with a positive mindset and attitude.

➢ Attend meetings and contribute towards making a real difference to the Passmores community with others in

your prefect team.

➢ If you are not willing to do all the above, then being a prefect is not for you!

What To Do Next?

There are 5 prefect strands:

Community, Environment, Charity, Rewards, Curriculum

➢ You need to apply for one of these strands – you need to explain why you would like to work in that particular

area of school life and give examples of the kind of ideas you have for the role.

➢ Collect an Application Form from Mr. D. Butler in the Leadership Office (old Head of House office).

➢ Closing date 3.30pm Friday 7th March
