Photography trip Wednesday 5th March 2025

Year 11 photography students enjoyed a day in London as they travelled by train and underground to Canary Wharf.
With clear skies and lovely weather, they spent the day exploring the area while working on photoshoots based on three themes: Narrative, Angles, and Flora and Fauna. The modern architecture and green spaces of Canary Wharf provided the perfect backdrop for their creative work.
After lots of walking and capturing stunning images, the group visited the Twist Museum and the Paradox Museum, where they explored contemporary art and optical illusions for fresh inspiration. The students created some exciting and creative concepts as they experimented with these dynamic exhibits, sparking new ideas and approaches for their own photography.
With plenty of photos to work with, this trip served as excellent preparatory work for their final GCSE exam. It was a fantastic day of exploration, creativity, and teamwork, and we can’t wait to see the results of their hard work!
